Group Challenge: Move More Activity Challenge with the American Heart Association

Registration Dates: Monday, March 31-Sunday, April 13, 2025

Challenge Dates: Monday April 14-Sunday, May 11, 2025

Our second group challenge of 2025 will align with our efforts to support the American Heart Association in the 2025 Lincoln Heart Walk. To participate in the second group challenge, participants need to follow the following directions:

1.) Register yourself as a team member on the HealthierU Employee Wellness Team for the 2025 Lincoln Heart Walk. If you plan on walking for a different team or plan on walking in the Omaha walk, those registrations can count for this challenge as well!

2.) Once you are registered, download the AHA Heart Walk App. Use the same log-in credentials that you created to register for the walk to log-in to the app.

3.) Begin recording your daily movement on the app to earn incentive points! If you use a wearable fitness device, you can sync your device and it will automatically connect to your recorded fitness activity. If you do not wear a fitness device, you can manually add in your activity. Different activities are worth different points ( i.e. Dancing is worth 40pts, High Intensity Interval Training is worth 80pts, and walking is worth 15pts).

4.)Once you have downloaded the AHA Heart Walk App, complete the registration form below to receive challenge emails which will include the weekly submission links to record data.
