Social Well-Being is the ability to build healthy relationships based on interdependence, trust and respect. It includes being aware of the feelings of others. Socially well individuals develop a network of friends and co-workers who share in common purpose, who provide support and validation.

The purpose of UNOPA is to provide professional growth and promote high professional standards for educational office professionals with the University of Nebraska, as partners upholding the quality of service to the university educational system and the community. First Generation Nebraska ( First-Gen)
First Generation Nebraska invites faculty and staff who were first-generation college students themselves or who wish to serve as advocates for first-generation students to participate.
Academic Advising Association
The Academic Advising Association (AAA) is home to a variety of student services professionals on the university's campus. The organization exists to bring staff and faculty advisors and student services professionals together to focus on best practices, enhance professional development opportunities, and advocate for the needs of our community.

Staff Senate
The purpose of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) Staff Senate is to be an advisory body on issues, institutional policies, and practices that relate to the staff, to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, to promote common interests among the staff, to advocate for staff welfare and development, to suggest revisions and initiatives to improve staff policies, and to participate in the formulation of institutional policy and governance.
Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate supports faculty governance and believes that shared governance is essential to creating a productive and rewarding academic environment for faculty and students as well as protecting faculty to pursue independent, scholarly research.
Chancellor's Commission, Status of People of Color
The general purpose of the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of People of Color is to enhance the status of people of color at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, by advising the Chancellor on issues pertaining to the specific concerns of faculty, staff and students who are people of color at the University.
Chancellor's Environment, Sustainability and Resilience Commission
The Chancellor's Environment, Sustainability, and Resilience Commission (CESRC) provides strategic recommendations and ongoing advice to the Chancellor related to the environmental, social, and economic well-being of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) and its stakeholders. The CESRC promotes the socially responsible stewardship of resources and the creation of resilient systems that are adaptable and recoverable to short- and long-term environmental and technological changes.
Chancellor's University Safety Committee
The goal of the Chancellor's University Safety Committee (CUSC) is to develop, review, and maintain lines of safety communication while fostering a culture of safety awareness, where everyone is encouraged to report "near misses" and unsafe practices.

The goal of the Chancellor's Commission To Prevent Sexual Misconduct is to seek to improve and sustain a culture of health and wellness in relationships, and promote a commitment to the welfare of others, protection of rights, and support all fundamental fairness and due process.

The purpose of the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Gender and Sexual Identities is to enhance the status of all LGBTQA+ identified people at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, by advising the Chancellor on issues pertaining to equity and on specific concerns of LGBTQA+ faculty, staff and students at the university.
