FAQ

1.) What if one of the team members will be out of town during a week of the league?

Teams can substitute one player for a match if they are unable to make it work. That team is required to email the Assistant Director ahead of the scheduled match and communicate the substitution. One player from the original team must be present and play during the match.

2.) What if a team doesn't respond to an email communication about setting up a match?

If a team does not respond to an initial email about setting up a match, contact the Assistant Director of Employee Wellness. Teams that do not respond two weeks in a row will be automatically disqualified from the remainder of the league without the possibility of a refund.

3.) How does the point system work?

Teams will earn 2 points for a win, 1 point for a loss, and zero points for a forfeit/no-show. Teams that no-show or do not communicate with their opponents to set up their matches twice will be automatically disqualified from the league.

4.) Can my spouse or partner play?

Yes, we are allowing spouses and partners to participate but they must be 18 years or older and must complete a separate participant form (this will be sent directly to them upon registration). We do ask that individuals who are currently enrolled as students at the University do not participate as we are not allowing university students to register for this program. Some exceptions may apply, please reach out to the Assistant Director of Employee Wellness if you have further questions regarding eligible participants.
