5 To Thrive Movement Challenge
Registration Dates: July 1-July 11, 2025
Program Dates: July 14-August 10, 2025
Program Description:
Are you ready to challenge yourself by making intentional movement apart of your daily routine? During this 5 to Thrive challenge you will choose from one of 5 movement options to perform for a minimum of 15 minutes each day from July 14-August 10, 2025. These movement options include:
- 15 minutes of walking/jogging/running
- 15 minutes of body weight exercising circuits
- 15 minutes of stretching
- 15 minutes of swimming
- 15 minutes of intentional moderate movement
Each time you complete your minimum 15 minutes, you will record your habit on Stridekick! The goal is to complete this habit each day throughout the course of the 4-week challenge. Making movement apart of your day each day can increase your productivity, boost your mental well-being, and elevate your mood ( just to name a few of the positives)! Being intentional with this movement indicates you are creating space to proactively work on well-being! Take it up a notch by inviting colleagues to join in on this challenge with you!
Challenge Registration
Upon completion of this registration form, registered individuals will be sent an email on July 11th, 2025 that will include the challenge link for the Stridekick Platform. If you have not used the Stridekick platform before please visit the Stridekick webpage on the HealthierU site (https://healthieru.unl.edu/healthieru-2025/stridekick/) to learn how to register for your free account. This challenge is not searchable on the Stridekick platform, the link that will connect your personal profile to the challenge will be sent via email to the email you list below.
30 Days Yoga Challenge
Ever struggled to make yoga a daily habit? This challenge is for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced yogis looking to deepen their practice.
We are challenging employees to select a start date ( option from July 1- Sept. 1, 2025) and incorporate a continuous practice for 30 days of yoga. Here are the program rules:
1.) The 30 days of practice must be continuous, no breaks or skip days.
2.) The practice must be for a minimum of 10 minutes.
3.) All styles of yoga are welcome.
4.) To earn well-being points for this program, participants must submit a record of practice. Acceptable records include an excel document, a word document, or photos of a physical journal that indicates the dates, practice length, and type of yoga practiced.
Motivation to Practice
We understand that finding time to participate in a live yoga class can be time consuming and expensive. For this program it is not a requirement to participate in a live in-person yoga class. You can practice by following along to a recorded video (see the library of options below), creating your own personal flow, or by participating in a live class at a studio, gym, or community setting.
