Hello and Happy July 1!
We are jumping head-first into the next quarter for HealthierU 2025. From July-September HealthierU programming will focus on finding ways to keep us moving! Check out the list of updates and new resources below.
1.) 5 to Thrive Movement Challenge: Are you ready to challenge yourself by making intentional movement part of your daily routine? During the 5 To Thrive movement challenge, your goal is to accomplish a minimum of 15 minutes of intentional movement each day. Participants will track their progress on their free Stridekick profile! To learn more about this challenge, including how to register, click here!
2.) East Campus Discovery Day and Farmers Market: East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market will take place on June 12, 2025, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.. Have fun participating in hands-on science activities, listen to live music, check out the vendors and more! UNL Group Fitness will be hosting Yoga in the Park from 11:00-11:45 a.m.! Registration for yoga opens on July 5, 2025!
3.) Fresh Produce Box Subscription Program w/ Robinette Farms: HealthierU is participating in the 2025 Mayor's Local Food Challenge by teaming up with Robinette Farms! Beginning on July 17, the HealthierU office, located in the University Health Center on City Campus, will serve as a new pick-up location for the Robinette Farm Subscription boxes. 4.) 30 Day Yoga Challenge: Ever struggled to make yoga a daily habit? This challenge is for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced yogis looking to deepen their practice. The 3rd quarter wellness activity will challenge participants to practice yoga consecutively for 30 days. For activity details and rules click here!

- The Curious Curator Café – Fossils and Fuel by Tazza Coffeehouse is now open for business in the Discovery Shop at Morill Hall! This location will feature fresh food options, frozen treats, and amazing coffee. Come check out Morrill Hall’s newest exhibit Arms, Armor & Anthropology and grab a delicious treat in the Discovery Shop.
- East Campus Summer Grill Out: East Campus Summer Grill-outs are back! This year Dining Services will be taking a road trip around the U.S. to explore the different styles of BBQ. This month they are offering Alabama BBQ on July 10th, South Carolina BBQ on July 17, Texas BBQ on July 24, and Nebraska BBQ on July 31!
