Wednesday June 28th, 2023

The Botanical Bar: July 4th Cocktails (6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m.) Lauritzen Gardens (100 Bancroft Street, Omaha, NE) This session will explore the ingredients and history of a variety of classic cocktails and spirits and allow participants to sample a curated collection of beverages that are perfect for Independence Day! Treestock Independence Day Celebration  (9:00 a.m. -10:00 p.m.) Steinhart Park (Nebraska City NE 68410) A small-town celebration of freedom the way George Washington intended. Complete with live music, food trucks, cornhole , and an hour-long fireworks extravaganza of, yes, extravagant proportions! We are turning our traditional one-day Independence Day Celebration into a weekend event not to be missed! To learn more, click here.

Fort Atkinson Living History: 4th of July Celebration (10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Fort Atkinson State Historical Park (201 S 7th St, Fort Calhoun, NE) Travel 200 years back in time for 4th of July weekend at Fort Atkinson State Historical Park! Uncle Sam Jam (4 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) Oak Lake Park (Oak Lake Park, 1st and Charleston, Lincoln, 68508) Area residents are invited to the City’s free Uncle Sam Jam Independence Day Celebration at Oak Lake Park, Monday, July 3. Seward's 4th of July Celebration (7: 00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.) Town of Seward (Seward, NE 68434) A full day extravaganza! The parade begins at 4:00 PM and fireworks start at 10:00 PM. For the full list of events click here.

Waverly 4th of July Celebration (7:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.) (Waverly, NE) Mutiple 4th of July programs will take place throughout the day in Waverly. Starting with a pancake feed at the First Methodists Church at 7:00 a.m. leading into a 4th of July Parade at 11:00 a.m. and more! A fireworks display will take place at dusk at Lawson Park. 4th Of July Fireworks Cruise (8:00 p.m. - 10 p.m.) River Inn Resort (72898 648A Ave, Brownville, NE) The best view in town for Brownville Fireworks!! This cruise boards at 7:30pm and leaves dock promptly at 8:00pm. Children under 3 are free with paid adult admission. To learn more click here.
