Capital Jazz Society presents Group Sax, 6:00 p.m., Storm Cellar ( 3233 1/2 S. 13th St, Lincoln, NE) Bring your friends and family to help support this series! You can enjoy live music and a variety of food, from the food trucks available at the Storm Cellar beginning at 6:00 p.m..

Power Lunch: it's the Manager: Coaching and Leading Employees Through the Employee Experience, 11:20 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Howard L. Hawks Hall, Room 202, Advance your skills through the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Power Lunch Series offered through the Center for Executive and Professional Development. CenterPointe 50th Anniversary Free Concert, 5:00-7:00 p.m., 2202 S. 11th St, Lincoln NE, Join in for a FREE concert by Hans Sturm & Jackie Allen.

Shoes & Brews, 6:00 p.m., Kinkaider (201 N. 7th St, Lincoln, NE 68508)  (Hosted by Fleet Feet Lincoln)This event is a free group run series that starts in April and ends in October. Every month, we will all meet at a different local brewery to test out the latest shoes. All paces and distances are welcome to join in on the fun. Once our run/walk is finished we all head back to the brewery to enjoy an iced cold brewski. What's better? There's opportunities to get discounted pints, win a FREE pair of shoes, t-shirts and more.

Hub Farmers Market, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Union Plaza (N 21st. Street, Lincoln, NE) Stop by and check out the vendors at the Farmers Market, enjoy some live music, and browse the food and drink options that are open for purchase from Hub Cafe.

Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series- Appalachian Road Show with The Shucks Brothers, 5:00- 8:30 p.m., NIC Plaza, Join us at the Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series for live music in the plaza at Nebraska Innovation Campus! Genealogy Over Lunch- 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Zoom, Anne G. Giesecke, Ph.D. and her husband Dan Steffen, Ph.D. will discuss their research in cemeteries from a literary and sociological perspective. Gravestones are a source of genealogical data, placement in the cemetery may show the family’s economic, social, religious status, and an individual’s importance within the family or community, also studied is art of the stone carver, literary studies and so much more. Otoe-Missouria Day, 2:00-3:30 p.m., Lied Commons, The Center for Great Plains Studies and its Reconciliation Rising Project will host the second annual Proclamation Day and Homecoming Ceremony for the Otoe-Missouria nation.

Lincoln Historical Ghost Quest presents Haymarket Spirits Tour, 6:30 p.m., The Haymarket, $50, per person, which includes a short tour of areas of the historic Haymarket Square, 3 stops to local establishments within the Haymarket Square, 3 adult beverages included in the ticket price (1 at each establishment), stories of the paranormal, historical overview of the Haymarket, use of portable ghost hunting equipment to use while on the tours, and all taxes and tips to the establishments visited. Play Night Golf At Ager Golf Course, 7:30- 11:00 p.m., Jim Ager Golf and Learning Center (3761 Normal Boulevard, Lincoln, NE 68506) Grab a group of 6 and play Night Golf surrounded by lights - two-person scramble and individual tournament playing formats. All golfers are welcome! The cost of attendance is $55 per golfer.
