Monday (6/5/2023)

  • Kokyo Taiko Drummers (1:30-2:15 p.m.) Walt Library Branch (6701 S 14th St Lincoln NE 68512) Enjoy a free display of Japanese style drumming from a local group while learning about Japanese culture. To learn more click here. 
  • Public Skate at John Breslow Skating Rink (3:00-4:45 p.m.) John Breslow Ice Hockey Rink (433 V St Lincoln NE 68508) Beat the heat on the ice at Breslow Ice Skating Rink at this fun event perfect for the whole family! To learn more click here

  • Saltdogs vs Sioux Falls Canaries (7:05 p.m.) Haymarket Park (403 Line Dr Cir, Lincoln, NE 68508) Join the Lincoln Saltdogs as they take on the Sioux Falls Canaries.   • Free Outdoor Movie Night ( 8:00 p.m.) Trinity Lutheran Church ( 724 s 12th St., Lincoln, NE 68508). Enjoy a free, outdoor movie with your family in the Trinity Lutheran Church parking lot! This week’s movie is Cars! Food will be served at 8PM and the movie will start at dark!   • East Campus Discovery Days & Farmers Market ( 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.) UNL East Campus Mall ( 3550 East Campus Loop, Lincoln, NE 68503). The East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market, hosted by the Institute of Agriculture and Naturals Resources (IANR) at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL), is offering the community, neighbors and friends access to science literacy opportunities, locally produced fresh food, value-added artisans and access to on-campus family fun activities.   • Brews at the Zoo ( 6:00-11 p.m.) Lincoln Children’s Zoo ( 1222 S. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE 68502). Adults 21 and over can enjoy a night at the Zoo!   • Prairie Hill "Nature Works" Summer Camps- (9:00 am-3:30 pm, Mon-Fri) Prairie Hill Learning Center (17705 S 12th St Roca, NE 68430) ‘Nature Works’ is a series of camps held each week where kids can have a hands-on learning experience and partake in activities to learn about nature and their environment. Battle of the Brews, presented by Central States Telecom, Inc., is the newest and liveliest of our fundraising events! We are partnering with local breweries to bring you the best of the best! During the event, our supporters will enjoy live music, food trucks, yard games and local craft brews - all while supporting child victims of abuse in Southeast Nebraska! To learn more visit here.
