Heart Health For Life is a 10-week, evidence-informed workplace wellness program designed to help employees better understand, manage, and improve their blood pressure through sustainable lifestyle change and supportive coaching. Grounded in principles from self-measured blood pressure monitoring (SMBP), lifestyle medicine, and behavior change science, the program combines education, accountability, and skill-building in a supportive group environment.
Program Overview
Each week focuses on a key driver of cardiovascular health, including physical activity, sleep, nutrition, stress management, weight management, and long-term behavior change. Participants learn practical strategies they can immediately apply in their daily lives, while tracking their progress through regular blood pressure monitoring and habit-based goals.

Program Registration
Participant Eligibility
To take part in this program, an individual must:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Be actively employed for University of Nebraska-Lincoln (this includes Nebraska Extension offices and University Research Centers)
- Full-time extension volunteers are eligible to participate.
