Bingo Night, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Off the Leash Dog Bar (1975 M Street, Lincoln, NE 68510) Join Off Leash and OutNebraska for a fun night of bingo! Stop by the East Campus Union for a Carolina BBQ meal including smoked brisket and smoked baby back ribs. This meal is included in meal plans or $9.85 for faculty/staff and $13.67 for all other guests. 

Iced Tea Social, 1:00-4:00 p.m., Kawasaki Reading Room ( Jackie Guaghan Multicultural Center, Room 302) Cool down with some iced teas brought to you by the Kawasaki Reading Room Staff!

Nebraska Turfgrass Field Day, 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Turf Research Center ( N. 38th and Hunting Ave., UNL East Campus, Lincoln, NE) This is a great opportunity to see and learn about the ongoing research that is happening in the Turfgrass program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Hatch Chile BBQ, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Nebraska East Union (1705 Arbor Dr, Lincoln, NE 68503) Try out something new for lunch! Mommy and Me Date Night at SR Pumpkin & Flower Farm, 4:00-8:00 p.m., SR Pumpkin & Flower Farm (5811 Davey rd, Lincoln Ne) Calling all moms, aunts, grandma's, etc! Bring your favorite little(s) out to the farm from 4pm-8pm for a special evening at a special price! For only $20, you will get one adult and one cup to fill with flowers from our field! Additional child cups will be available for $8/each. Special pricing for adult children! There will be a few picnic tables available if you would like to bring your own dinner! The Haymarket Farmers' Market, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Historic Haymarket (8th and P streets Lincoln NE 68508) The Haymarket Farmers' Market is Lincoln's largest market with over 200 vendors! Come browse the various stalls and enjoy local Nebraskan vendors. For more information click here.

Saturdays at Prairie Pines, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Prairie Pines Nature Preserve (3100 N 112th St. Lincoln, NE 68527)  Prairie Pines will be open to the public for free EVERY Saturday from 9am-5pm to explore its diverse 145-acres of wildlife habitat. Enjoy the simplicity of nature on the miles of trails, with a picnic in the arboretum, or conquering the kids nature ninja course. Children must be accompanied by adults. Sorry no pets! Intro to Standup Paddleboard Class, 9:00-10:00 a.m., Holmes Lake (70th & Normal Blvd. Lincoln, NE 68506) Register online here to purchase tickets for the Intro to Standup Paddle boarding class! This class is facilitated through the Lincoln Paddle Company. 

LUX Center for the Arts presents Ready, Set, Make!, 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., LUX Center for the Arts (2601 N 48th St., Lincoln, NE 68504) Two LUX Teaching Artists will provide instruction and inspiration as children express themselves creatively with the materials provided. This experience is choice-based and child-led; it is not a traditionally structured classroom experience. The price for admission is $15 per child/youth. Advanced registration preferred, but some drop in spaces are available; call the front desk for availability and see front desk personnel for payment upon arrival. Haymarket Park Beerfest, 3:30 p.m. Haymarket Park (403 Line Drive Circle, Lincoln, NE 68508) Every year, the annual Haymarket Park BeerFest features dozens of breweries and over a hundred different varieties of beers and adult beverages to sample. Hyde Observatory Open Night, Sundown-11:00 p.m., Hyde Memorial Observatory (3701 S 70th Street--south side of Holmes Lake in Holmes Park Lincoln, NE 68506) Enjoy programs about astronomy and space exploration, learn from knowledgeable volunteers, and take a peek into the universe through three different telescopes.
