Capital Jazz Society presents B & the Boppers, 6:00-9:30 p.m., Storm Cellar ( 3233 1/2 S. 13th St. Lincoln, NE) Bring your friends and family to help support this series! You can enjoy live music and a variety of food, from the food trucks available at the Storm Cellar beginning at 6:00 pm. 

Tuesday, August 29th

Lincoln Saltdogs vs Cleburne Railroaders Double-Header, 5:05 p.m., Haymarket Park (403 Line Drive Circle, Lincoln, NE 68508) Join the Saltdogs as they take on the Railroaders in this double-header! It's Triple Play Tuesday at Haymarket Park; donate 3 non-perishable items for the Food Bank and receive a free general admission ticket! Gender and Sexuality Center Open House, 3:30-5;30 p.m., Nebraska Union; Explore these three easy-to-access spaces, located on the Nebraska Union 3rd floor. Enjoy free food, and beverages while meeting and engaging with other Huskers and the amazing staff.

Nebraska Statewide Arboretum Plant Sale, 12:30-4:30 p.m., Nebraska Statewide Arboretum Greenhouse ( 2150 N. 38th st, Lincoln, NE) The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will host a fall plant sale on Friday, September 1, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. at its greenhouse on UNL’s East Campus. Native plants well-suited to Nebraska’s climate and growing conditions will be available for purchase, including trees, shrubs, perennial flowers and herbs. All proceeds help to benefit NSA programs, which include tree planting, garden making and environmental education across the state.
