Bedding Drive, August 1st-11th, Lavender Closet ( Nebraska Union, Room 346) The Bedding Drive is an item drive that accepts donations that pertain to unopened bedding-related items, such as bed sheets, pillowcases, and blankets. Tuesday Table, 5:30-6:30p.m., South Gate United Methodist Church (3500 Pioneers Blvd. Lincoln, NE 68506). Check out the free collective garden harvest from around the local community and bring some of your own excess harvest to share! Free to all members of the community. 

National Night Out,  Join the Lincoln Police Department officers at one of these locations for #NationalNightOut. To learn more about the National Night Out campaign click here. Ready for Back to School With Easy, Budget-friendly Lunch Ideas, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Zoom. Prepare for the school year to begin by learning some easy tips to meal prep for your child's lunch to save you time and money! We will also walk through a few easy recipes that you can do at home with your kids! 

First Friday, 5:00- 10:00 p.m, Downtown Lincoln Area,  First Friday Artwalks are held on the first Friday of every month at galleries and businesses in downtown Lincoln. While the opening and closing times vary depending on the curator, typically the first receptions begin at 5:00 pm, with the last ones winding down by 10:00 pm. The largest network of art galleries is located in downtown Lincoln from 7th to 17th Streets East to West and the UNL Campus to the State Capitol North to South.
